The Historical is Personal

It was necessary, as a black historian, to have a personal agenda.

  1. That is a wonderful playlist, and it takes you through all the moods. Stuck In the Middle with You, is one of my favorites, “ple-e-e-e-e-e-ase.”

Anything with Snoop or Dre in it, during the 90’s gets my votes.

b-52 is great, but Shiny Happy People with REM, would have been better for me.

  2. It’s hard to find you comments sections, you have to make it more visible. I knew I been by here, but I forgot how to find the comments. I posted in the wrong sections…

  3. Thanks, MrsGrapevine, for your feedback. Yes–that is one of the drawbacks with WordPress: the inability to change the formatting of comment options without buying the CSS upgrade. I have been thinking about doing that, though.

I did see your comment to the OSF post. Thanks so much for dropping in to hear my selections. My hubby is a big R.E.M. fan and I myself like “Shiny Happy People.” But for me there is nothing quite like “Love Shack.” It is impossible not to smile while listening to that song!
